Quite a lot of us get a bit of a bad taste in the mouth and some rather negative feelings, on the subject of Network Marketing, I know I did. 

But I have some experience with it now and I am really happy having a network, a team and I am really happy, that I do not have to build my business all by myself.

 

I have been self employed for many years, as an IT consultant and it can be a little lonely being all alone about strategy, planning, advertising and sale and creating videos, reels and pictures takes time, but with a network I can build a business that provides residual income.

 

Why do we have negative feelings?

Many of us have had the experience of being invited to, what we thought was a cozy evening with friends, only to discover that the “party” was actually a “home-party” for some product that the host wanted to sell. That sort of experience leaves one feeling duped and it is not a nice way to sell.

 

We may also be a little unconformtable, that family and friends might ambush us with a sales pitch in the middle of a social setting, this is not a nice feeling either. 

 

Marketing of business, that are not using Network Marketing

All business advertice their products. All. Some create commercials that run on social media, some create commercials with movie stars that run in theaters and some use word of mouth, but all business use some form of advertising to promote their products.

 

Most business use 7-12 % of their income on the marketing budget. For some of the largest business in the world, that means millions of US dollars – and none of us get upset, uncomfortable or angry about these commercials. We may find some commercials silly, or even bad, some are funny and some are raunchy, but as much as we may not agree with the concept, product or commercial, we are not getting upset, that the commercial exists in the first place.

 

So, why do some get so very upset when we are talking Network Marketing?

 

I think it is because, when we see an advertisement or a commercial, we know what to expect. We know someone is trying to sell us something and they are using all kinds of colors, music and people to do it, but we know the name of the game. 

 

Network Marketing – the appealing way

When done right and in an appealing way, Network Markering is both fun and decent, without anyone feeling uncomfortable and with potential for a good and stable income. 

 

My choise of doTERRA as business partner was based exclusively on passion. I simply fell in love with the products. 2. Distribution center – you will not have to take orders, pack and distribute, that is all done for you

The only “cost” you have monthly are the minumum purchases you make. You must purchase for 100 points which is about 100 US dollars (depending on the price of the products you purchase). This mandatory purchase requirement is only for persons wanting to build a business. Those that want to just purchase oils, have no mandatory purchase requirements.

 

The products you purchase will be delivered to you and you are the one using them.

 

Can I be just a customer and not build a business?

Yes, most absolutely!

 

You do not have to purchase any more than you want and you do not have to build a business

 

Is there any money in it?

The short answer is yes – there is money in it.

From the moment you start signing up customers and those that want to build a business, you will make money. If you sign up enough customers and builders, you achieve rank and then you also get compensated with part of the doTERRA surplus.

 

And even better – there is money in helping others achieve rank. Meaning that the more you help those that have signed up with you, the more money you make. Now that is truly Network Markering.

Is it a pyramid scheme?

No, it is absolutely not a pyramid scheme. You will purchase and receive products each month. You decide what you want to buy and how much. 

If you want to build a business with me and with doTERRA, then yes, there is a minimum purchase each month, but you still decide what to buy and you use the products.
